Welcome Tofee!

Until now, we have had Lucy- and now we have Tofee!

Tofee recently joined the Psychotrauma Crisis and Response Unit as a trained therapy dog.

Uri Weiss, a volunteer in Tzfat, is a therapist and frequently uses animals, and his dog Tofee, to help people.

“People love Toffi, who returns love in abundance!”

The benefits of working with animals in traumatic situations is about unconditional acceptance with a lack of judgment because, by nature, people are judgmental.

Therefore, a patient who has difficulty in establishing contact and trust in humans can be attached to and assisted by animals that help them “break the ice” more easily.
